Dr Antonios Seretis was born in Serres, Greece, and was raised in Thessaloniki. He studied medicine at the Military Medical Academy, graduated in 1995 and continued his career as a doctor in the Hellenic Military Navy. He has specialized in dermatology and venereology at Andreas Syggros Hospital in Athens. He has served as a head of the Dermatology Department of the Naval Hospital of Athens until 2005. Today, he heads the Dermatology Unit of the Naval Hospital of Salamina.
Dr Seretis is a member of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology and the Hellenic Society of Melanoma.
He is married to Paraskevi Stinga, MD, and they have two children.
