One of the earliest signs of aging is a loss of facial fullness and the development of expression lines or soft wrinkles that appear as a result of a repeated facial muscle movement. Following injection, any markings will be cleansed and icing may be offered to alleviate any temporary discomfort. An improved appearance is visible almost immediately, although minor swelling or bruising may appear at the injection site. Any of these conditions will disappear within a few hours, or a few days at the most. The patient is usually able to resume normal professional and every day life activities following any of the injectable treatments.
Isolagen
Isolagen is an injectable product that has become very popular over the last few years. The technique is based on replacing and increasing the patient's own fibroplasts, those cells responsible for the collagen formation and skin rejuvenation.
